Gazi dismissed Corey Anderson, BJ Watling and Doug Bracewell in successive balls for the 40th treble in Test cricket history. In lieu of his feat, here are the last five men with a hat-trick before Gazi.
1. Stuart Broad, England: The fast bowler turned around the second Test at Trent Bridge in July 2011 against India as he had MS Dhoni caught, Harbhajan Singh trapped leg before wicket and then Praveen Kumar bowled to set up an English victory.
2. Peter Siddle, Australia: Siddle’s effort came on the first day of the first Ashes Test in Brisbane in 2010 as he had Alastair Cook caught, bowled Matt Prior and then sparked the celebrations by having Broad leg before.
