Jeremiah and The Lucky Stripes hit The Fridge stage on Monday.
The Dubai funk rock group continue their ascendancy after supporting Macy Gray earlier this year. Their growing fan-base allowed them hit the studio recently with a debut album to be released next year. Speaking before the gig, frontman Jeremiah John said the group’s live experience is “bustling music with influences ranging from powerhouse rock to Indian and Hindustani influences, pop and funk.”
