The Al Khubairat Singers and Orchestra will be putting on a concert of classical musical gems next week.
At 7.30pm on Tuesday, September 24 in The British School Al Khubairat, the ensembles will be performing some favourite pieces by some of the greatest composers in history.
The programme includes the likes of Zadok the Preist by Handel, the Clarinet Concerto by Mozart and the Overture to The Barber of Seville by Rossini.
The Al Khubairat Singers and Orchestra were both founded in 2007 by Jonathan Lyall, head of the Instrumental Music Department at The British School Al Khubairat.
In the past the choir has performed numerous high-profile concerts, including ones at the Emirates Palace with the BBC Concert Orchestra and the UAE Philharmonic Orchestra.
The show takes place in the school’s auditorium, which is located off Airport Road in the Churches Area of Abu Dhabi.
Entry is free, but names of attendees must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org beforehand.
