We actually got some good training partners in this week, some really good fighters from Honolulu. They aren't UFC fighters so you may not know them but there are really good guys in the camp now and, honestly, I feel like I'm ready to go, ready to fight. I'm just going to do a couple more sparring sessions now before we fly - four or five, five minute rounds, of MMA.

Mentally I'm in no rush to get in the ring with Edgar, I'm just enjoying the journey. I know it's going to come.

You may see on my blog video entries of us doing some training in the pool. We do this on Wednesday's and Saturday's and the reason we do it is for our speed and to work our nervous systems. We use the resistance and do various movements like moving your left leg and shaking your right arm. I find it better than lifting weights, which I know a lot of people like to do. It's really good for speed, for your tendons, it's an awesome workout.

We also jump around on the trampoline. I try not to do it for too long because it's a leg killer. It builds strength and coordination and it relaxes your whole body because it's not only your legs you use but you put your shoulders into it too.

I'm at 165lbs now so I don't have to worry about making the weight. I'm just trying to eat pretty balanced with lots of protein, healthy carbohydrates - brown rice, oats and grains - a little avocado, olive oil, salads. I love ice-cream and all that kind of stuff but I know it's not good for you all the time, unfortunately.

Next weekend UFC 111 happens in New Jersey with current UFC welterweight champion Georges St Pierres (GSP) defending his title against British contender Dan Hardy.

I think it is going to be a tough fight for Dan Hardy if GSP takes it to the ground. What is going to be interesting is I think that GSP has his back to the cage to finish this fight in a dominating fashion and that is never a good thing, having to finish someone like that. I think Dan Hardy has a chance but it is not going to be easy.

Some of the guys fighting are friends who I have known since I have been with UFC. Frank Mir, who is fighting Shane Carwin this weekend, is a good buddy of mine. Shane Carwin is a nice guy too.

I have had talks with Dana White about returning to the welterweight division but we will find out more after Abu Dhabi. Dana may have another lightweight contender for me, so we will see what happens...

I'm just really excited about coming over to Abu Dhabi now and having a couple of weeks to see the culture and have a great fight.

If you come into the octagon more prepared than when you fought Diego, Edgar wont even know what hit him. That was the best I've ever seen you fight, and I hope I get to see some more on Saturday, good luck BJ, woop on him!

I thought Baby J was a punk with attitude when I began watching UFC three years ago. Since then I have watched most of his previous and recent fights on Spike and have gone from grudgingly respecting his skills to BJ being one of my favorite fighters.

The guy has heart, stamina, world class BJJ and the kind of balance other fighters dream of.

Best of luck, BJ
