Nakheel is just out with this statement about its first stalled project to come back to life:

Al Furjan brings together two Dubai companies that share a vision for this city. We are delighted to recommence the creation of this new integrated residential community.
Al Shafar Transport and Contracting Co LLC is the first contractor to recommence construction work on Al Furjan, one of our short term projects, and we expect that all short term projects will be fully mobilized by October 2010."
This has been a long time coming, but I suppose it's a milestone of sorts because they are actually doing something.
